HTTPS
Serve the page over HTTPS
HTTPS protects information travelling between visitors and the website. The checker reports whether the final page, after any followed redirects, is served over a secure connection.
- 01
Step 1
Ask whoever hosts the site to install a valid TLS certificate for the domain.
- 02
Step 2
Redirect HTTP visitors to the HTTPS version of the same page.
- 03
Step 3
Check that mixed content is not loading important assets over HTTP.
- 04
Step 4
Run the checker against the public address you want people to use.
This check looks at the final page URL. It does not replace a full server or certificate review.
